Since he was an Elite dealer as well, I took my 09 Z28 and GT500 with me. The Z8 was badly out of tune for sure. Well he put in the 29" modules and tinkered with the bow for an hour or so. After having me draw it many times and examining the post settings, etc he declared the bow "perfect". I then had him look at my Elites - another 45 min or so. The Z28 needed a good bit of tuning but the GT500 was fine.
I read about this dealer on the Elite forum and one guy had given him rave reviews. He is a Platinum Elite Dealer and also a Strother Dealer. I recently bought a 2010 Strother SR-17 on AT (rickd300mag - thanks again Rick) and as it was a 26.5" draw and I needed a 29", I looked on Strother website and found that this dealer was listed. Went there this past Saturday and want to share my experience.
I am embarrassed to say I don't even know the dealer's name. He is about 6 ft and 350+ pounds. I figure that at least half of that weight is his heart. It is a privilege to meet someone like this and I wanted to share the experience and recommendation.
Vary helpfull and had what I was looking for
Every time I have been in the shop the prices were great and everyone was very helpful. I have purchased several bows and accessories there and can't say enough good things.
Very helpful, friendly staff.

If you are in driving range of Sullivan, MO I highly suggest you drive to Oak Grove Archery located there. Sullivan is about 45 miles from St. Louis, MO.
When I asked how much I owed he said, "well, we will call the mod swap even so you don't owe me anything". My jaw dropped! I hardly ever get out of a shop for less than $75 and often the bow is not much better than when I took it in. I insisted he take at least $50 - he refused. I left went to my car started it, turned it off, and went back in. Again, insisted he take at least $50 - again he refused. Now like many of you I am struggling financially as I am on disability and just getting by. But he did not know that - just helping a fellow archer.
Now about the place in Heaven part. On the original post the person noted that while he was there this dealer donated a bow for raffle for a school. I asked the dealer, "are you the guy who donated the bow?". "Which one" he said. Came to find out from a friend of his sitting there he has donated six bows this year alone, the last one for a cancer victim in the community that had no insurance. The bow was raffled and the funds given to the person.
