BEWARE! Do NOT trust these people! Not only do they not tell you the whole story, they refuse to do anything about the problem they cause. Here's the story: My wife works in Sullivan, but we live near O'Fallon. It's a 1 hour drive each way to work. It has been raining like crazy and she texted me when she got to work this morning that the tires are bad and she was slipping all over on the way to work. She gets home at midnight, so naturally I was very worried about her driving home on the wet roads with bad tires. So, I decided to drive to Sullivan myself while she was at work and get tires put on the car. So, knowing that Walmart is nearby and open on Sunday, I called them before leaving and told them the story, hoping to make an appointment for them to put two new tires on the car when I arrived that afternoon, about an hour later. I spoke with a lady who was very cordial on the phone. She explained that they don't take appointments, but there was no wait at all right now and it should be just fine. I told her great, I would see her in about an hour. We hung up and I started driving. I got to my wife's work, switched cars and drove over to Walmart. When I got there, I pulled up and was the first car in line outside the bays. I thought that was great...short wait. NOPE. The guy working outside told me that unfortunately they were short-staffed for tires that day and a few others had just arrived ahead of me, so I would have a FOUR HOUR WAIT before they could get my car in! I explained that I had called ahead and just driven an hour to get there...he said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak with the lady I had talked with on the phone earlier, and she wasn't available. I talked with the assistant manager of the department, and she said it was unfortunate, but that they didn't take reservations and it was first come first served. I again explained that I had called ahead and surely they could move some things around due to the extenuating circumstances. They didn't seem to care at all. I then asked for a manager, who arrived about 10 minutes later (while I was frantically trying to find another tire place that was open) and who very curtly explained "there's nothing I can do". Well, yes, she COULD do something, but the fact was she refused to. I would have been willing to pay the people in front of me to let me get in line ahead of them...but there wasn't even a chance to negotiate. They simply have no room in their system for unusual circumstances, and their managers are very poorly trained in how to make something work for everyone. She flat out refused to even try. I then left trying desperately to find another tire place. I never found another place open and had to return my wife's car to her without fixing the tires for her. And turned around and drove the 1 hour ride home having wasted the whole trip. Now I am worried about her ride home. Tomorrow I am going somewhere (ANYWHERE BUT WALMART) and getting them replaced. What is wrong with people that they can't think outside of the box anymore? There IS such a thing as an special circumstance that would justify moving a bit on your hard and fast rule. True managers and people with the slightest bit of customer service skill know this. I am no longer a Walmart customer.

BEWARE!!! My husband and I took his truck to the Sullivan Automotive Service center for an oil change, new wipers, and a tire rotation. Absolute debacle. We were the first ones there at 8:00 a.m. Took 20 minutes to even get his truck checked in. No one really knew what they were doing. We left to eat (I drove separately for this purpose) and then walked around Walmart for a time. My husband went to check on his truck and found one of the guys trying to remove a locking lug nut without the adapter. He had to tell the guy how to take it off. Good thing he went back there or he could have stripped the nut. Several workers all just kind of walking around acting as if they have never seen a car before. And not helpful at all. Long story short, three hours later my husband goes to check out...they forgot to change the wipers. He said to just forget those and paid for the oil and tires. Gets on the highway and the truck is bouncing and shaking all over the place. Worst decision to go to this service center!!! Save your time and money - go somewhere else!!!

3 1/2 hours ( and I was the only customer or work order) only to be told they couldn't do the work because I was missing a lug nut.

People always standing around not helping anyone and they sold me tires that i can't even get a replacement for thanks walmart

Wal-Mart tire and lube in Sullivan is the worst experience you will have in a longtime. I bought tires there and they are still in my truck not on it. I waited
